“Back to school” is upon us. Notice that I put that in quotes because I am not sure that any of us really know what that means right now. What we do know is that no matter if your child is participating in brick-and-mortar school, virtual learning, or home schooling, lunch is always important. Kids need to take a break to recharge and refuel and it is so hard to concentrate (even as an adult) when you are hungry. I’ve been on the hunt for easy lunches that work for when my kids are in the school building and for when they are taking a break from virtual learning. I also work from home, so I don’t always have a lot of time to start making lunches. I need something quick, easy and complete!
We usually stock up on quick and easy lunches and snacks at Walmart (I love that they also have the online order and pickup option now, too).
Lately, my kids are loving the Lunchables Unloaded lunch combinations. Our favorites include Ultimate Double Cheese Deep Dish Pizza and the 6-inch Ham & American sub sandwich. The best part – everything is included (drink, side, and dessert)! We just pair them with some fresh fruit and the kids are good to go for a complete lunch! They also have fun assembling it themselves!
I received compensation from Kraft Heinz in exchange for my review. All opinions are my own.
