Do you have certain brands that are just your "go to"? Products that not only work for one phase of life, but are just a constant resource for you? Aquaphor Baby Healing Ointment is my "go to" for all things skin related! I was introduced to it by my pediatrician when my oldest was an infant. She had every dry irritated skin issue that you could think of. I literally tried everything! Aquaphor Baby Healing Ointment was the only product that I could put on her sensitive skin that did not further irritate her skin. As a first time parent, I also loved that I could use it with each diaper change to prevent diaper rash, but then also use it on the dry irritated skin that was troubling her legs and arms at such a young age.
I carried this routine on with both of my son's as well. In fact - we still use Aquaphor Healing Ointment today even though everyone is past the "baby" stage. As it turns out, there really is no difference between Aquaphor Healing Ointment and Aquaphor Baby Healing Ointment. It is just the packaging (and where you will find them in your store). We used Aquaphor Healing Ointment this past winter quite a bit during our family ski trip for windburned cheeks and chapped lips. Currently we are using it to help with dry skin after long days at the baseball field! My sun loves that it is fragrance free ;-). I love that it is also free of parabens and dyes.
Aquaphor Healing Ointment works so well because it features a "breathable" formula that allows oxygen to reach the skin and promote healing unlike other petroleum products on the market.
Interested in trying some? If you are coming to our May 10th Mother's Night Out at Haak Winery I will be handing out samples! Also if you see me around town at a story time etc, I should have a few in my bag as well. Don't be shy to ask - I'd love to share Aquaphor Healing Ointment with you!
From chapped cheeks to minor scrapes and scratches, Aquaphor Baby products give your child’s skin the extra TLC it needs to feel healthy, happy and protected.
Aquaphor Baby Healing Ointment can be found at CVS, Walgreen's, Walmart, Target, and on Amazon.
