Parenting - you guys..... IT'S MESSY! Although I am speaking to the choir on this, I did want to let all of you in on one of my favorite products for messes. A product that is applicable no matter how old your children are. I love WaterWipes! WaterWipes contain 99.9% water and just a drop of grapefruit seed extract (a natural skin conditioner). They were founded by Edward McCloskey - a concerned father who wanted a better baby wipe after discovering his child suffered from severe diaper rash and sensitive skin. He noticed that all of the baby wipes he could find had potential harmful skin irritants in them, so he created WaterWipes. I can appreciate this as my daughter had super sensitive skin and eczema as a baby and honestly still down have sensitive and dry skin. WaterWipes, however was actually awarded the National Eczema Associations's Seal of Acceptance!
Most people associate wipes with cleaning a baby after a messy diaper and it is true - they are great for that! However over the years I have found a ton of other uses for them. Take this week for instance.... Halloween! We are carving pumpkins - and that sounds like a super fun idea... until you get into it. Seeds and slime everywhere. The kids can't seem to get it into the trash bags or on the paper towels. Then they give up and start wiping it on their legs, arms, you name it. WaterWipes work perfect for clean up! We also like to use them when we are outside picnicking with neighbors, for sticky hands in the car, my aunt in fact even uses them to wipe her dog's behind! I love that since they are just water and a drop of fruit extract they are safe enough to wipe faces with. I try to keep a single pack with me at all times because you never know when you are going to need them!
