1. Tommy's Restaurant and Oyster Bar - Mother's Day Brunch Buffet. Sunday, May 8. Seatings at 10:30 a.m., noon and 1:30 p.m. Menu will include an assortment of salads (Artisan mini wedge with assorted dressings, red potato salad, Greek salad, fresh assorted fruit cocktail), Eggs Benedict, scrambled eggs, waffles and maple syrup, eggs and quinoa in a puff pastry, bacon, sausage, roasted corn, green beans, fingering potatoes, Caribbean Ceviche, oysters on the half shell, chilled peel and eat shrimp, carved prime rib with au jus and horseradish sauce, smoked spiral ham, pecan crusted chicken breast, Tilapia Orleans, crawfish enchiladas, fried bay shrimp and oysters, cheesecake station, bread pudding, peach cobbler and chocolate mousse cake. 2. The Silver Sycamore in Pasadena - Mother's Day Brunch Buffet. Sunday, May 8. 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. Menu includes breads, pastries, waffle bar, eggs, bacon, ham, pan roasted salmon with orange butter sauce, fruits, salads, a kids' menu, and dessert bar and more. 3. La Brisa Mexican Bar and Grill - Mother's Day Buffet. Sunday, May 8, 8 a.m. - 1 p.m. Adults $12.99, children $5.99. Available at both locations. No reservations.
4. South Shore Harbour Resort and Conference Center - Mother's Day Brunch. Sunday, May 8. 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. Brunch in the newly renovated Crystal Ballroom. Menu includes fruits, salads, cheeses, omelet bar, eggs, waffles, french toast, hand carved roast prime rib of beef, pork loin with chorizo filling, baked Atlantic salmon with bay shrimp, homemade breads, breakfast pastries, a dessert buffet and more. Adults $39.95; children 6-12 $18.95; children 5 and under are complimentary. Reservations can be made by calling 281-334-1000 (extension 2022).
5. Bon Appetit Cafe - Nassau Bay. The first 100 moms to dine at Bon Appetit Cafe on Mother's Day will receive a complimentary mini cheesecake. Bon Appetite Cafe serves breakfast all day, and lunch favorites such as chicken salad sandwiches, pot pie and pasta salad (menu here). Specialty coffees are available, and a kid's menu includes pasta and sandwiches. Hours are 7 a.m. - 3 p.m.
6. Aquarium Restaurant - Mother's Day Buffet. Sunday, May 8, 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Over 40 delicious buffet items to choose from. Adults $31.99, seniors $24.99, kids (3-10) $11.99, 2 and under free. Call 281-334-9010 for reservations.
7. Star Fleet Yachts - Mother's Day Brunch. Sunday, May 8, 10:30 a.m. Sip champagne and dine on a delicious menu, as you sail through Clear Lake and Galveston Bay. Menu includes fresh fruit; cheese; assorted pastries and muffins; sausage, egg and hash brown bake; bacon; salad; ham; rice pilaf; glazed baby carrots and cheesecake. 8. Hotel Galvez - Mother's Day Brunch. Sunday, May 8. 10:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. Menu will feature all of the traditional entrees, along with special features created by the executive chef. 9. Moody Gardens - Mothers' Day Buffets. Both the Garden Restaurant and hotel at Moody Gardens will be serving brunch from 11-4 (Garden Restaurant) and 11-3 (hotel in the Frances Anne Moody Ballroom). 10. The San Luis - Mother's Day Champagne Brunch. Sunday, May 8, seatings from 10:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. Menu features brunch favorites such as made to order pancakes and omelets, carved bone in ham and prime rib, seafood delights, desserts, bottomless mimosas, Bloody Marys and more.
