Who doesn't get choked up with you hear the theme music from Disney's "The Lion King" playing?
I have to say, I may have been more excited than my children when I heard of The Lion Guard - Return of the Roar was being released - as we already loved the Disney Junior series!
Last weekend we received an advanced screening of the The Lion Guard - Return of the Roar and met Kion, the second born son of Simba and Nila (that's right this is the Mufasa's grandchild!). Kion is the leader of the "The Lion Guard" which is an elite group of animals tasked with preserving the Pride Lands. He forms a group of unlikely characters and off they go on an exciting journey! My kids and their friends (ages 2 -6) loved this movie! The parents loved the music selection, seeing some old characters from our childhood (Simba, Nala, Mufasa, Timon, and Pumbaa), and that it was age appropriate and entertaining for all!
The Lion Guard: Return of the Roar is currently available on DVD and on Disney Movies Anywhere.
