Keep cool this summer with snow cones and frozen treats!

Check out these area snow cone places to enjoy a cool, frozen treat this summer.

 

Bahama Bucks

An indoor frozen dessert shop that offers a variety of treats located in League City at 1355 E. League City Pkwy, Suite 100. They offer over 91 proprietary gourmet flavors. Open Monday through Thursday 11 a.m.–10 p.m., Friday and Saturday 11 a.m.–10:30 p.m. and Sunday noon–9 p.m. Like Bahama Bucks on Facebook and visit their website for a detailed menu. 

Snocone Express

Locals wait eagerly every spring for this walk-up snow cone stand to open.  Located on Hwy 146 in Seabrook (right across the street from Wells Fargo Bank) and open from 1 pm - 7 pm (unless it's raining), Snocone Express offers a variety of flavors to choose from and some covered seating.   Visit their Facebook page for more details and to learn about their flavor of the month


Kahuna Joes

A walk-up snow cone stand located in the historic district of League City at 812 E. Main St. They offer more than Hawaiian shave ice. Other specialties include smoothies and frappes. Safari’s Eats and Treats

A zebra striped building with hot pink trim that features a drive-thru and walk-up window located at 602 Main St. in League City. They offer a variety of snack food options in addition to snow cones. However, they’re best known for their homemade snow cone syrup which is made with sugar instead of corn syrup. They offer a variety of flavors and unique flavor combinations. Try their new frozen treat, “Tropical Fresca” for a limited time. It can be made with any snow cone flavor you choose and comes topped with candy and fruit. There is shaded seating available under the palapa-covered tables and benches.  Open daily noon–8 p.m. 

 

SnoBall Hut

An indoor frozen dessert shop that offers more than 150 snowball flavors. It is located at 16701 El Camino Real #140 in Clear Lake. Their syrups are made using pure cane sugar instead of corn syrup. Customers can add a variety of toppings to their snowball and even have the option to stuff their snowball with ice cream. In addition to snowballs, they also sell gourmet popcorn, candy, cotton candy, gourmet pretzels, nachos, dill pickles and soft drinks. 

Open Monday through Thursday 11 a.m.–9 p.m., Friday and Saturday 11 a.m.–10 p.m., and Sunday 1–9 p.m.

Snow Ball Cabana

A bright yellow walk-up stand located at 15825 Hope Village Road in Friendswood. They offer snowballs in a variety of flavors and are open seven days a week with prices starting at $1. Open Monday through Friday 1–7 p.m., Saturday and Sunday, noon–7 p.m.

Sno Beach

A walk-up snow cone stand located in downtown Friendswood at 600 S. Friendswood Drive. There are palapa-covered tables, benches and chairs which offer plenty of shade while you enjoy your snow cone. Open daily noon to 8 p.m. Hours may vary during the summer.
