TXU Energy Presents Zoo Lights is back and more spectacular than ever this year – now with more than two million lights!
Guests can stroll through majestic oak trees sparkling with millions of colorful LED lights. There are new and exciting additions around every corner at this year’s most anticipated holiday tradition. From a completely lit-up African Forest with larger-than-life, glowing, rotating ornaments to a walk-in snow globe, TXU Energy presents Zoo Lights will be sure to delight the entire family.

From a completely lit-up African Forest with larger-than-life, glowing, rotating ornaments to a walk-in snow globe, TXU Energy presents Zoo Lights will be sure to delight the entire family.
Back again are guest favorites “Holly Berry,” the 1958 Cadillac, that features thousands of vibrant lights dancing in time to joyful music and the wonderfully amazing Enchanted Forest with life-size, lighted animal sculptures.
Zoo Lights is a separately-ticketed event, held daily from 6:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m., now through January 24, 2015 (Closed Christmas Eve and Christmas). Tickets are on sale now. Prices vary by day and can be found at www.HoustonZoo.org/ZooLights. The zoo closes for the day at 5:00 p.m. and re-opens as TXU Energy presents Zoo Lights at 6:00 p.m.
During the evening, many of the animals settle down for their long winter’s naps. The star attraction at TXU Energy presents Zoo Lights is the lights! Guests can warm up by ducking into the Reptile House, Kipp Aquarium or Carruth Natural Encounters and see the animals who live there.
Macaroni Kid League City/Clear Lake and the Houston Zoo are excited to give away a Family Four Pack of Zoo Lights tickets to one subscribing family! Please note these are only tickets to Zoo Lights. To enter you must be a Macaroni Kid League City/Clear Lake subscriber and over 18 years of age. No purchase necessary, void where prohibited. To enter click HERE.
